Our nursery is a bright attractive building with ample playroom in which we are able to create a warm caring atmosphere. We take the safety and security of the children very seriously, and the building has been remodelled with the needs and safety of the children in mind. Our outdoor play area is fully secure and backs onto rolling hills which is farmed with lambs and cattle.
Baby Room 0 – 15/18 Months
Our Zebra room has lots of stimulating toys to help your child develop. We do many activities such as paint, gloop, and flour,and use our light box and mirrors to help babies from 2 months explore the world around them.
We ask that outside shoes are not worn in this room to ensure our high standards of hygiene are upheld. Connected to this room we have an area for changing young ones and an area for sleeping.
Toddler Room 15/18 Months – 2½ Years
Within this room we have lots of toys suitable for this age group. The children are guided to what is of particular interest to them personally.
There is a reading corner where they can look on shelves through a wide assortment of books from letters and numbers onward to first words and picture story books. There is a bean bag in this corner which is always popular.
Activities include role play, painting, writing, construction using lego bricks and playdoh.
We have a sensory room for the development of senses and sense acuity. Using a variety of playful things such as lights, sounds and materials that allow for fun learning and development of senses, how they are used and what they are used for.
Outside we have an all weather play area for all kinds of play, but especially developing physical skills.
For babies it is a place to crawl,learn to walk and explore.
In the rear garden we encourage discovery, creativity,imagination and investigation including

Play houses & Riding toys
Climbing frames and slides
We have fully qualified forest school staff and offer these sessions as well as forest skills sessions as part of our normal weeks!
